This is the Donky Wonky. He’s a bit boozed up after the Christmas party. He’s not really behind bars. He’s just resting against the bedstead. He’s actually quite an important bear - well, donkey - because he helps you go to sleep. Don’t ask me how. He started life as a hot water bottle cover, but didn’t like that much, so we stuffed him with filling and now he’s an official bear.

When he lost his Christmas hat, the Donky Wonky was cold - especially as he had no hot water bottle to fall back on, so we rustled up a new hat and a jacket. It was our first attempt at dressing a bear…

Here’s a shot of DW in his ‘attire’. The shot’s not perfect because he has a natural ‘slouch’. You’ll notice that he no longer has his ‘bottle’ with him. After being boozed up a little too much he decided to give it a miss for a while. He still insists on a celebratory dram or two when it’s appropriate, though…
